For Corn and Jalapeno Fondue
1/2 cup boiled and lightly crushed sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
2 tsp finely chopped jalapenos
1 1/2 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped coloured capsicum
2 tbsp deseeded and finely chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup milk
1 cup grated processed cheese
salt to taste
1 tsp fresh cream
For Serving
herb bread
brun bread pieces

how to make corn and jalapeno fondue
- In a small bowl, add 1½ tbsp cornflour.
- Add ¼ cup of water.
- Mix well. Keep aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a broad non-stick pan.
- Add 1 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun).
- Sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
- Add 1 tbsp finely chopped onions.
- Add ¼ cup finely chopped coloured capsicum.
- Sauté on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add 2 tbsp deseeded and finely chopped tomatoes.
- Sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add ½ cup boiled and coarsely crushed corn.
- Add ½ cup milk.
- Add 1 cupgrated processed cheese.
- Add ¾ cup of water.
- Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes or till the cheese melts, while stirring occasionally.
- Add the prepared cornflour-water mixture.
- Cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the salt to taste.
- Add 1 tsp fresh cream.
- Add 2 tbsp chopped jalapeno.
- Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Serve corn jalapeno fondue immediately with herb bread and brun pav pieces.

This is a perfect recipe to serve for a party...It is unusual, cheesy and has a tinge of spiceness..

A great variation to Cheese Fondue. Onions. garlic. capsic*ms and tomatoes are sauteed and then milk and cheese is added to make a nice thick rich fondue. Jalapenos add a good spice to it. Serve with cut hard top bread pieces or pieces of French bread.
