Okay Hams with BF experience (I only nursed for 2 weeks each child). If you've nursed 4 other babies would it really take 4 months to realize there's an issue? If it's something to be fixed, why not just get it done? why the hand wringing and dramatic posting? Not being snarky, just honestly curious…

I think she pumped and bottle fed basically from the start (my thoughts are because Briton was jealous and she had just weaned him) So if she was being bottle fed from just a few weeks old, nursing could be hard. For one, I think they get milk from the bottle quicker and have to work harder to nurse? Babies can go back and forth, yes, but it might be something you have to give a little time and work though. Shannon has no time for that in her chaotic life.

So my guess with this is, she’s just been bottle feeding her majority of the time, brushing off any nursing difficulties on London preferring the bottle. I don’t think she is as bonded to London and the others and blames it on not nursing. So now she is wondering if she gets her lip tie fixed, it will make London want to nurse more and ta-da! Shannon now is bonded to London. (Shannon logic) However, maybe this has changed, but when I had babies, it was hard to find someone to fix a lip tie. We lived in a large city and still had to travel five hours to find someone who would do it. (I do think this has changed). With the stay home order, I don’t think this would count as medically necessary since the baby is fine with the bottle. Maybe she’s asking if it’s worth it during this time?

Shannon wants a quick fix to this problem. I actually think the stay home order may fix the bonding issue. They will be forced to stay home and not go go go like always. London has spent her four months in a car seat being toted along to the crazy adventures of her family. Shannon has four other feral kids, a puppy, and a useless husband. The baby has gotten pushed to the side.

I thought that her milk dried up. Everytime we see London, we see a bottle, or see her eating from a bottle. Are we supposed to believe that Shannon has continued pumping, and somehow NOT told us or shown us? Ooookkkayyyyy!!!!

So many questions…
Why is there one random gingerbread cookie at the bottom of her flour canister?
Did she do the youngest feral boy’s hair like that on purpose or is that just what happens after a month with no baths and sleeping on the floor in random rooms around the house?
Why are they buying two gigantic bags of flour from a restaurant supply store?
How can she not know how to cook rice? Does she even know how to boil water?

I can only help with the first question — i believe it is one of those clay gingerbread that you dampen to keep brown sugar soft. I wasn't aware anyone used it in flour though.

They got 2- 50lbs bags of flour… Why? What for??? I’ve never seen her bake anything and baking is tricky, I don’t think she has the brain for it.

There is no way she'd be able to measure ingredients accurately enough for baking anything.

She does realize that there are other foods out there that contain carbs, right? Why was she crying “no more carbs” during the devastating 45 seconds that they were without flour?

One of the guys who came to her house with cookies is channykimbs’ husband (she is also an influencer and best friends with megan skalla). Thought it was kinda weird because everyone knows Shannon and the Skallas had a feud years ago

So kitchen supply shops are the new hotel gift shops? I’m guessing Dallin is hyped up enough not to care what he is buying.
