Pinkie Pie: "Your telling me"
Twilight: "We have everything in place. Vinyl will be DJ as always, we have a photobooth setted up, food and drinks will arrive later"
Rarity: "Everything looks fabulous darling" 
Twilight: "Thanks Rarity it's all going to plan. There's also gonna be a a silver moon tonight. (not sure if it's real I only made it up lol)" 
Rarity: "Even more a reason for this night. I helped Rainbow Dash picked up the perfect prom dress yesterday it is absolutely stunning. It's not too fancy though but it's still stunning" 
Twilight: "I bet Applejack will not take her eyes off her"
Timeskip that night
Everyone was arriving at the school for prom night with either their dates, themselves or with just friends. Applejack was at Rainbows house. She took a deep breath and walked up to the front door and knocked. 
Rainbow Dash: "Close your eyes"

Applejack didn't argue and did so. Rainbow Dash slowly opened the door and said to Applejack to open her eyes. As soon as she did, her jaw dropped. Rainbow Dash wore a nice light blue dress with some lacing on the top.

Applejack thought she looked absolutely beautiful. 
Rainbow Dash: "Cat got your tongue?" 
Applejack: "Mah words are just speechless. I think ah died and gone to heaven" 
Rainbow Dash: "Your not so bad yourself cutie. Shall we?" 
Applejack: "We shall" 
They linked arms and started walking to the school. It was too far away so it didn't take long. As they arrived, they were waited by their friends with their dates. 
Pinkie Pie: "Oh my goodness you two are looking spicy" 
Applejack: "Shall we head inside?" 
Everyone nodded and they all went inside whilst being greeted by Principle Celestia and Vice Principle Luna. 
Principle Celestia: "Have fun girls" 
They all had a blast. They danced and had some food and drink and just simply enjoying the night. Soon it was time for the slow dance and everyone began walking to the dance floor with their around each other. Rainbow Dash looked a little nervous and Applejack noticed. 
Applejack: "do you wanna head outside?" 
Rainbow Dash: "Is that okay with you?" 
Applejack: "Of course it is" 
They held hands as they headed outside for fresh air and had a walk around the schools garden. It was more beautiful at night with the stars shining and fireflies flying around them. 
Rainbow Dash: "Sorry if I looked a bit anxious back there it's just, I don't know how to dance" 
Applejack: "neither do I. Dancin was never may strong point but that shouldn't stop us from having fun right?" 
Rainbow Dash shook her head. Within minutes, the moon looked like silver. It was a rare sight making their night special. 
Rainbow Dash: "May I have this dance m'lady?" 
Applejack: "Yes you may" 
As their held their waists and holding hands, they began to dance slowly. As they danced, the world around them paused. Nothing mattered and they didn't care if anyone saw them, they were only solely focused on themselves, looking into their eyes. They moved gracefully and the fireflies began dancing with them. It was almost like a fairytale only this one was reality. 
Applejack: "You dance amazingly" 
Rainbow Dash: "that's because I have you with me and I love it. I'm glad you asked me to go to the prom with you" 
Applejack: "Ahm glad I could fall in love with you Dash"
Both of their cheeks blushed. Rainbow Dash now had her arms around Applejacks neck whose arms were around Rainbows waist. The moon had glistened its silvery shine. A perfect moment for the two lovers. Their lips were inches away.
Applejack: "Ah love you Dash"
Rainbow Dash: "I love you too"
Their lips met and immediately sparks ignited within the two. Both their hearts pounding like a drum. They were in each other's embrace. They pulled away and foreheads rested against each other. Out of nowhere Applejack scooped up Rainbow Dash spinning round and round, both laughing lovingly. The moon shined it's wonderful silver shine as the night progressed. They were glad to have gone to prom together.
