Luckily, this changed to a large extent in high school. In high school, there has been a large uptick in diversity. Most students one sees participating in school events and clubs are people of color, and I have not seen nor experienced any directed discrimination to individuals during these past four years at high school. Education is highly competitive though. This has resulted in many students feeling unmotivated to do better because the IB students are always at the top. However, I did love the diversity of class choices. I always had a hard time choosing because there were so many different classes I wanted to take. I do think staff need to be more strict about vaping and weed at school. I know that everyone is aware of it, but many teachers and staff ignore it and don't do anything about it. It's to the point where I can't walk around the school without smelling weed and it honestly is really annoying. There isn't as many drug tests as there should be....
